We have curated an exquisite collection of seven new ColorWorks™ prints for you to choose from. Simply choose a pattern, the colorway, and then select the base fabric on which you would like to have it printed. Fabric choices include cotton, linen, linen blends and silk.

Alsace Damask & Alsace Check

RM COCO is pleased to introduce our newest ColorWorks patterns Alsace Damask and its companion Alsace Check. The patterns take their design cue from the historical region in northeastern France on the Rhine River plain. Bordering Germany and Switzerland, it has alternated between German and French control over the centuries and reflects a mix of those cultures. Its capital, Strasbourg, is centered on the Ill River’s Grand Île Island, bordered by canals and home to the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg.

 

Borrowing from the region’s French architectural influences, Alsace Damask is a quatrefoil damask motif featuring fresco-like textural effects. Alsace Check is an alternating check pattern that is the perfect companion for Alsace Damask and reflects the casual and unpretentious style associated with the influences of the German and Swiss countryside.

Guinevere Damask & Tahitian Thatch

Guinevere Damask is named after the legendary queen of Britain. This gothic-inspired crest, or damask, motif sits atop a textured fresco ground. Added texture is achieved from the slubbed 100% cotton ground cloth which has been imported from Spain. Offered in seven classic color combinations.

 

Tahitian Thatch was inspired by the luxurious resorts found in French Polynesia where private cabana-style rooms sit atop crystal ocean waters. This transitional herringbone pattern is perfect for so many casual room settings.

Rickety Rac Stripe & Tahitian Thatch

Rickety Rac Stripe is our Southwest-inspired chevron stripe. Bold and colorful, this graphic design works equally well in traditional, transitional, and contemporary room settings.

American Velvets

A New Collection - American Velvets

Velvet is a soft pile fabric that has been manufactured for almost 4,000 years in one form or another. Velvet has long been considered a luxury fabric because it requires more yarn to manufacture than other fabrics, as well as multiple steps. Velvet can be made from any type of yarn, although traditionally, velvet was made with silk yarn, making it even more costly. In the modern era, cotton and synthetics have been used in the manufacture of velvet.

 

Velvet is a woven fabric, its pile is formed from warp (lengthwise) yarns woven into the backing. It is woven on a double piece loom which creates two fabrics simultaneously. Velvet pile is sandwiched in-between the layers. As the cloth comes off the loom, the pile ‘sandwich’ is spilt to create two pieces of velvet. After cutting, velvet is often sheared to ensure it is all even, and then dyed. Velvet takes dye extremely well. Velvet is usually brushed while moist so that the fabric sets with a grain, producing the characteristic feel that consumers prize.

Organic Classics

A New Collection - Organic Classics

We love a good tree hugger! Protecting the environment is an important and valued goal here at RM COCO.  And with our new Organic Classics collection, tree-hugging just got a little bit comfier. Woven with organic cotton, this collection promotes sustainability, both in your specific project, and in the industry as a whole. Producing organic cotton uses lower carbon due to lesser fuel and energy consumption. Because it goes through a chemical free production process, it also prevents water contamination. The health of workers are also not compromised. Lastly, the use of excessive fertilizers and pesticides also cause irreparable damage to the environment. Aka GOOD THINGS™ for the earth and for you!

 

So, to put it in simpler terms, our soft, smooth cotton is certified organic from seed to shelf. It is grown without herbicides or pesticides, plus it’s dyed and printed with eco-friendly, certified dyes, which is pretty cool, if we do say so ourselves!

 

RM COCO’s Organic Classics collection offers three multi-purpose fabrics that are sure to please. The collection offers two twills and a duck in an assortment of eighty-six on-trend colorways from which to choose.

Eclipse Blackouts

A New Collection - Eclipse Blackouts

Everyone loves a beautiful view! And natural light streaming in from a bedroom window definitely helps liven up a room…but early morning sunrises are not so great when I’m trying to sleep in! Thankfully, we’ve got a beautiful new collection of blackout fabrics, to help save your sleep schedule while keeping the room in-style and on-trend! 

 

Blackout refers to a foam-backed, opaque fabric used to black out light, and are most commonly found in hotel rooms as curtains, blocking much of the light that would otherwise enter through a window even when the average curtain is closed. But blackout fabrics can be used residentially as well! For night shift workers, parents of babies, and those who just really love their sleep, our Eclipse Blackouts could be an essential element in the bedroom. Besides window coverings, other uses for these blackout fabrics could include wallpaper or movie projector screens!

 

RM COCO’s Eclipse Blackout collection is the perfect choice when complete light control is required in a room setting. Anyone else get flashbacks to Disney’s Mulan when you hear the phrase Mountain Pass? Truly, the first thing that pops into my head is this scene, where Mulan kicks some serious bad guy butt, right in the middle of the mountain pass on her way to protect the emperor. It’s not dramatic to say that you checking out this new collection is an event of equal importance to Mulan saving China. Okay, well maybe it is just a little bit dramatic to say that. Either way, RM COCO is pleased to introduce the Mountain Pass Suede Collection, named so for a reason unrelated to Mulan. With this collection, we offer two weights of faux suedes, Durango and Vail. Then you might recognize this fabric shares a name with a town high in the Rocky Mountains, Durango, CO, which is most famous for the historic narrow gauge railroad (aka a Mountain Pass!)  that connects Durango with nearby Silverton. Wow, a fabric named after a famous mountain pass, in our Mountain Pass Suede collection! Funny, you’d almost think we’d planned that!

We’ve got another geography tidbit for you! Our Vail Suede was named after the Vail Pass, a 10,662-foot-high mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains in central Colorado. The pass was named for Charles Vail, a highway engineer and director of the Colorado State Highway Department. So really, the more appropriate name for this beautiful suede would be Vail the Third! Feel free to call it that if you would like!

Vail Suede is a lightweight suede that is a great weight for drapery treatments. This beautiful fabric comes in 18 colors!
